I get so many questions about how I “do it all”. Let me start by saying that my husband is the shit, and we make a great team. However, we have some systems in place to make life easier. Sundays can be the best day to set yourself up for a productive AF week. Every Sunday I spend time preparing for the upcoming week.

Menu planning / Fridge Audit/ Shopping
On Sundays, we write out our dinner menu for the week on a whiteboard in the kitchen. We audit to see what ingredients we need to use first and make a list for shopping. Having dinners planned helps us avoid the 6:30 pm crunch of deciding what the heck to make for our family of four. Laying out meals allows me to game plan how to ‘spend’ my calories that day. If we have pizza night planned I don’t want one slice, I want three dammit! Planning allows me to balance the rest of my meals so I can enjoy dinner with zero stress/guilt.
Laundry / Workout Clothes Laid Out
My #1 tip for increasing workout motivation is having a cute fit planned. Pick out a workout outfit you feel great in. Have your workout gear freshly washed and laid out the night before so you can roll out of bed and crush it.
Scheduling/ Time Blocking
I am not a type ‘A’ person, which comes as a shock to some. Having a schedule and plan keeps me from losing my shit. On Sunday I assess my call and live workout schedule for the week. I block out when I will create content, do household chores, and attend appointments in my calendar. I recommend my clients schedule their bare minimum non-negotiable workouts on their calendar like important meetings with their boss.
Remember you don’t have to do all of this to have a kick ass week, a little planning can go a really long way. Set intentions for the week and then make it easy to execute by setting yourself up for success.
