Does planning your meals stress you tf out?

Cooking dinner for a family can be overwhelming. Take the stress away by planning dinners, lunches and snacks in advance.⁣ We discuss family dinners that sound good. It’s something to get excited about and look forward to as a family. I mean, who doesn’t love taco night? Having dinners planned takes the guesswork out of what you will eat during the week.⁣

Grab your notebook and get the family together– IT’S TIME FOR A BRAINSTORM SESSION. ⁣Sit down with your family and brainstorm a list of meal ideas the family will look forward to. Then take that list and find healthy versions of your favorite recipes.

Pinterest is a great resource for finding healthy versions of your family recipes. Every week sit down and plan out all of your dinners for the week. Spend a few minutes writing out the menu for the week. Figure out what meals you need to food prep meaning (cut and wash veggies and leave them unprepared, marinade ect.) and what meals you need to make ahead of time and pack to take with you out of the house. Snacks, breakfasts and healthy dessert items should be included in this plan. Use extra servings for lunches to grab and go.
