When you are trying to lose inches staying within a calorie deficit is key. Having your meal prep chicken ready to go will make it easy for you to get a serving of protein on the go.
Lemon herb meal prep chicken it can be served with a lot of different meals because of its deliciously easy-to-pair flavors. Fresh lemon and a mix of herbs make this chicken tender and quick.
In a large bowl or air-tight container place chicken. Add remaining ingredients and cover. Marinade for at least 15 min- 2 hrs.
- 1 pound thinly sliced chicken breast
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Fresh Cracked Black pepper (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 1 tsp Dried parsley
- 1 tsp Dried basil
- 1 1/2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Red wine vinegar
- 1/2 Lemon juiced (save remaining half for after cooking)
Preheat grill or well-seasoned cast iron pan until it’s hot, 5-7 min, then lower heat to medium. Grill on either side for 3-4 min until cooked through. (Internal temp of 165F). Squeeze lemon over top before serving.
Air fryer Instructions:
Preheat to 400F. Place chicken in one layer. Place in the air fryer for 10 min. Flip halfway through cook time.
